BYRGE, WANDA - age 37, of Petros, Tenn., passed away Wednesday evening,
December 9, 1998, at Oak Ridge Methodist Medical Center. Preceded in death by:
father, Walter H. Byrge; brother, Levi Byrge; and sister, Vennie Byrge.
Survivors: mother, Polly Byrge, Petros; brother, Calloway Byrge, Petros; half-
brother, Johnny Carroll, Frost Bottom; sister, Pauline Byrge, Stoney Fork.
Funeral services, 2 p.m., Sunday, December 13, 1998, at Beechfork Baptist
Church, Rev. Donald Daugherty and Rev. Verlin Phillips officiating. Interment
Beechfork Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Saturday at
Cross Funeral Home. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home.

HOLLINGSWORTH, HENRY WHEELER - age 92, of Jacksboro, passed away Thursday
evening, December 10, 1998, at the LaFollette Medical Center. He was a member
of the Jacksboro United Methodist Church for many years. Mr. Hollingsworth was
a prominent businessman, having been the founder of LaFollette Development
Corp., one or the founders of First Federal Savings and Loan and Director of
the First National Bank. He was owner and operator of LaFollette Hardware and
Lumber Company for 50 years, during which time he established the LaFollette
Real Estate. Charter member of the Rotary, charter member of Campbell County
Chamber of Commerce. The Hollingsworth Auditorium at the University of
Tennessee was named in his honor. Preceded in death by: brothers, James (Bo)
Hollingsworth, Ben Hollingsworth and Fred Hollingsworth. Survivors: wife,
Gladys Sanders Hollingsworth, Jacksboro; daughter and son-in-law, Joan and
Jack Hughes, Jacksboro; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 3 p.m.,
Sunday, December 13, 1998, at the Jacksboro United Methodist Church, Rev. Tom
Redding officiating. Interment in Jacksboro Cemetery. The family will receive
friends 1-3 p.m., Sunday prior to services. In lieu of flowers, the family
requests memorials be made to Jacksboro Cemetery Fund, c/o Martha Perkins, PO
Box 45, Jacksboro, TN 37757. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home.
