I have a couple of general questions about the purpose and scope of TNCAMBE-L. I
joined it expecting it to have a little of everything as in other county genealogy
lists I have joined: queries about surnames or how to get information for that
particular county, requests for lookups, postings of information, etc. However, I
notice that the site-with one or two exceptions-seems to be almost completely
dedicated to recent obituaries. Is this because that is the particular focus of
this site or because no one is sending in queries, lookup requests and other types
of messages? Is it appropriate to send in queries regarding surnames or other
information relating to Campbell County? I apologize if I have somehow missed the
answer to this question in some obvious place. However, I live abroad, and was
hoping to be able to use the site to read and post a variety of types of messages.
