REED, BOBBY DEAN - age 66, of Clinton, Tenn., escaped the bonds of earth,
time, and space to join our Creator, Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ Monday,
August 3, 1998. He was preceded in death by mother, Grace Corder Taylor;
father, Frank Reed; brother, Lee F. Reed. Survivors include wife of 46 years,
Joan M. Reed; son, Joel Reed of Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Terry and David
Walker of Columbia, S.C.; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Angie Reed of
Crossville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Joseph and Janay Reed of Oak Ridge, Tenn.;
Johnathan and Sarah Walker of Columbia, S.C., and Benjamin Reed of Crossville,
Tenn. Other survivors include brother, Frank Reed of Knoxville; sister, Louise
Solomon of Knoxville; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Earl Phelps of
Dandridge, Tenn.; sister, Linda Grace Taylor of Jackson, S.C.; sister-in-law,
Carolyn Seivers of Clinton, Tenn.; brothers-in-law, Jerry and Bobby R. May of
Clinton, Tenn. and Larry May of Sunbright, Tenn., along with several nieces
and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, August
6, 1998, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton, with funeral services at
8:30 p.m. with Rev. Mack Smith officiating. Since the body will be cremated,
the family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to Central
Baptist Church Building Fund, 130 Providence Rd., Oak Ridge, TN 37830,
Tennessee Right to Life, 5710 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919, or Covenant
Hospice, 183 Lafayette Drive, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
