Marjorie Emaline ALLEN, age 86, of LaFollette died Wednesday, July 22, at
LaFollette Medical Center.
Funeral services were held at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 25, in the Chapel of
Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Stelle officiating. Interment was at
1:00 p.m., Sunday, July 26 in Greenbriar Cemetery, Jellico. Martin Funeral
Home was in charge of all arrangements.

Bobby Joe FARMER, age 58, of LaFollette, died Sunday, July 26, at Oak Ridge
Methodist Medical Center. He was born on January 1, 1940.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, at the chapel of
Martin Funeral Home with Rev. James Adkins and Rev. Virgil Farmer officiating.
Interment followed at Indian Creek Cemetery, Jacksboro. Martin Funeral Home,
LaFollette, was in charge of all arrangements.

Reba K. HENDREN, 76, Knoxville, died on Sunday, July 26. She was a retired
professor of the University of Tennessee Agriculture Extension Department.
Funeral services were at 10:30 am, Wednesday, at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage
Chapel, with Dr. Larry Fields officiating. Interment was at 2:00 p.m.,
Wednesday, at Spring City Cemetery, Spring City, Tennessee.

Leon KENNEDY, age 64, Jacksboro, died Tuesday, July 21, at Oak Ridge Medical
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 24, in the chapel of
Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Bradshaw officiating. Interment followed in
Beechfork Cemetery. Martin Funeral Home, LaFollette, was in charge of all
arrangements.

Roy Lee MEFFORD, age 91, of Caryville, died Thursday, July 23, at the
University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 25 in the Chapel of
Martin Funeral Home, Revs. Paul Ward and Robert Adkins officiated. Interment
followed, in Queener Cemetery. Martin Funeral Home of LaFollette was in charge
of the arrangements.

Nathanial MUSE, age 76, passed away Friday, July 24, 1998 in San Francisco.
Funeral services were held at 8:00 p.m., Monday July 27, in the chapel of
Martin Funeral Home. Revs. Eugene Bond and Ben Lay officiated. Interment was
at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 28 in Lay-Silcox Cemetery in Scott County. Martin
Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Vista E. OWENS, age 88, died Monday, July 27, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 1, in the chapel of
Martin Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Martin
Funeral Home, LaFollette, was in charge of all arrangements.

Laura POWERS, age 93, of Jellico, died Tuesday, July 21, at Beech Tree Manor
in Jellico.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 23, at Harp Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Ellison officiating. She was buried at Douglas
Cemetery, Sunny Hill. Harp Funeral Home, Jellico, was in charge of all
arrangements.

James R. WILDMAN, age 79, of Caryville, died Tuesday, July 28 at LaFollette
Medical Center. He was born in Rutland, Ohio on September 11, 1918. He was a
U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.
Funeral services were held at 8:00 p.m., July 29, at Cox-Martin Chapel.
Interment was at 10:00 am, the following Friday, at Miles Cemetery, Rutland,
Ohio. Cox-Martin Funeral Home of Lake City was in charge of all arrangements.
