George C. ARCHER, age 81, of Jellico, died on Sunday, June 21, at the Jellico
Community Hospital in Jellico.
In accordance to his wishes, Mr. Archer was cremated with no funeral services.
Harp Funeral Home, Jellico, was in charge of arrangements.

Everett (Lefty) BOWMAN, age 72, of LaFollette, died on Wednesday, June 24, at
the Baptist Hospital in Knoxville. He was a member of Fundamental Baptist
Church. He played the piano for 18 years at the church.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 27, at Fundamental Baptist Church
with the Revs. Emerson Sweat, Lee Phillips, Larry Russell and Bradley Myers
officiating. Interment was at Halls Cemetery with full Military Honors. Martin
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements

Lona Ruby RAINS CHITWOOD, age 79, of LaFollette, died on Saturday, June 27, at
her home. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and moved to Calvary
Baptist Church. She was one of eleven children.
Funeral services were held on Monday, June 29, at Cross Chapel with the Rev.
Sonny Longmire and Bro. Carl Bradshaw officiating. Interment was on Tuesday at
Douglas Cemetery, Jellico. Family request in-lieu-of flowers donations be made
to Ruby Chitwood Funeral Account at Cross Funeral Home. Cross Funeral Home,
LaFollette, was in charge of arrangements.

Ershel COLLINS, Sr., age 80, of Caryville, died on Friday, June 12, at the
LaFollette Medical Center.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 13, at Cross Funeral Home with
the Rev. Carl Hicks officiating. Interment was on Sunday, June 14, at Woodlawn
Cemetery. Cross Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Estyl Lee MOON JACOBS, age 59, of LaFollette, died on Sunday, June 28, in the
emergency room at the LaFollette Medical Center. Graveside services were held
on Monday at Campbell Memorial Gardens. Martin Funeral Home, LaFollette, was
in charge of arrangements.

Ottis P. LAY, age 62, of Caryville, formerly of Elk Valley, died on Thursday,
June 25, at the LaFollette Medical Center. He was born on June 4, 1936, at Elk
Valley, to the late Alonzo Lay and Effie Gibson Lay.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 27, at the Cox & Son Chapel with
the Revs. Asbury Byrd, Carl Bradshaw and Odom Baker officiating. Interment was
Sunday, June 28, in the Valley View Cemetery, Elk Valley. Cox & Son Funeral
Home was in charge of arrangements.

Kevin Wayne PEBLEY, age 19, of Speedwell, died on Saturday, June 27, at
LaFollette Medical Center. He was a 1996 graduate of Campbell County High
School, Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 30, at Speedwell Academy
Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Munday officiating. Interment was in Beeler
Cemetery. Walters Funeral Home, LaFollette, was in charge of arrangements.

Robert L. PLEMONS, age 30, of Route 5, Coolidge, died on Saturday, June 27,
due to injuries received in an automobile accident. Funeral services were held
on Monday, June 29, in the chapel of Martin Funeral Home with the Revs.
Kenneth Plemons and Tim Plemons officiating. Interment was in Stokes Cemetery.
Martin Funeral Home, LaFollette, was in charge of arrangements.

Jasper "Jap" Sevier PROSISE, age 81, of Briceville, died on Tuesday, June 29,
at his residence. He was born on March 25, 1917, in Briceville. He was a
United States Army Air Corps Veteran who served in World war II.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 30, in the chapel at Holley-Gamble
Funeral Home in Lake City with the Rev. Houston Carroll officiating. Interment
was on Wednesday, July 1, at Circle Cemetery in Briceville. Holley-Gamble
Funeral Home, Lake City was in charge of all arrangements.

J.T. PYLES, age 63, of Caryville, died on Wednesday, June 10, at Methodist
Medical Center. He was born, September 16, 1934, in Campbell County,
Tennessee. He was an Army Veteran. Funeral services were held on Friday, June
13, at the chapel of Cox-Martin Funeral Home. Interment was at New Vasper
Cemetery, Caryville. Cox-Martin Funeral Home, Lake City, was in charge of
arrangements.

Virgil Lee REED, age 91, of Clinton, died on June 25, at his residence. He was
born February 10, 1907, in Campbell County, Tennessee. Funeral services were
held on Saturday, June 27, at Cox-Martin Chapel with the Revs. Mac Smith and
Paul Wilson officiating. Interment was on Sunday at Oak Grove Cemetery, Lake
City. Cox-Martin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Emmitt Elvin SHARP, age 60, of South 19th Street, LaFollette died on Saturday,
June 27, at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville due to injuries sustained
in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 30,
in the chapel of Martin Funeral Home with the Revs. Robert Adkins and Steve
Bruce officiating. Interment was on Wednesday, July 1, in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Martin Funeral Home, LaFollette, was in charge of arrangements.

Byron Keith WILSON, age 36, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Jellico,
died on Tuesday, June 23, at the St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, Indiana.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 25, at the Harp Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Jerome Walden officiating. Interment were at Bakers Forge
Cemetery on Friday, June 26. Harp Funeral Home, Jellico, was in charge of
arrangements
