New Lookup Volunteer:
We have a new lookup volunteer. Glenna Jordan () is willing
to do lookups in Byron, Sistler & Associates Books: 1840 Campbell County
Census, 1880 Campbell County Census, and Campbell County, Marriages 1838-1889.
Many thanks to Glenna for volunteering her time, and Byron, Sistler &
Associates for allowing her to use their books.

The USGenWeb Tombstone Project has been growing by leaps and bounds and, many
cemeteries in TN have been put online. Campbell County currently has 18
cemeteries listed, courtesy of Mildred Collins Wasser.

Pensions of Campbell County: I have started a new section called Spotlight on
Pensions. Every 4-6 weeks I will put online a pension/bounty land warrant
application. At the end of its run, a text version of the same pension will be
put in the USGenWeb Archives, and a new pension in its place. The first
pension to be put up will be the John H. Rigney Pension (courtesy of Dusty
Smith). It will go online in about a week or so. If you have any pension
applications or bounty land warrant applications and would like them shown in
this section, please let me know.

Please note that TNGenWeb has changed her domain name. The URL is now
http://www.tngenweb.org/

Campbell County, TNGenWeb is located at
http://www.tngenweb.org/campbell/

If you have these sites bookmarked, you will need to update the links.

Next Project: To get all surnames in queries and surname page registered with
TNGenWeb and USGenWeb search engines.

Currently, summer is out, and the children are home. This temporarily limits
my library activities. Additional microfilm transcriptions will have to be
delayed until fall.

Plans for the fall: Providing an index to Campbell County Wills Vol. D, Feb.
1877 - Nov. 1907 (that is, God Willin' and the creek don't rise).

I hope that everyone has a wonderful summer. If you need anything, just give a
"holler."
