ELMO EMERSON ROBBINS

Elmo Emerson Robbins, 75, of Kingston, TN, passed away May 5, 1998.
He was born Sept. 30, 1922 in Powder Mill Hollow in Campbell County, the son
of James McKinley and Ophelia Peters Robbins.

Mr. Robbins served his country during World War II in the South Pacific, and
he was retired from Y-12 in Oak Ridge, TN, after 31 years.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Marcene O'Strand Robbins; aunt, Clida
Jarnigan of Knoxville; children, Keith Robbins of Crossville, Rise Wilkinson
of Evergreen, CO, and Wayne Robbins of Kingston; grandchildren, Emily and
Lindsay Robbins of Crossville, and Jonelle, Joel and Ashley Wilkinson of
Evergreen, CO; and several cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by infant brother, James
McKinley Robbins Jr. The family will receive friends at Kyker's Funeral Home
in Kingston tomorrow evening, May 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mr. Robbins'
memory to either the Friends of the Library in Kingston or the American Cancer
Society.
