Matilda Ray was my G.grandmother, I remember Callie, her half-sister, Eva Sansom was my grandmother. I have pictures of Sansoms going way back. Also a family tree. I have very little info concerning Jeff Smith. I still have relatives in TN that may be helpful. Also my mother may be able to enlighten us both. From your dates, seems Matilda and Jeff were only together a year. I do know Matilda was married once more to a Clutts, and resided till her death near Trimble TN. I know one of Matilda's husbands met with an accident and later died. I wonder if it was Jeff? I wonder what happened to her husband James Sansom.
I also have relatives in Arkansas that may know where your GGgrandfather is buried. I will wait to hear from you before contacting my relatives. Bonnie(Page)Patton
