Dorothy,

My gggrandfather, Willis Chumney, moved his
family from Amelia County Va to Henderson
County Tn around 1844. The Chumney's had
lived in Amelia County and Prince Edward
County Va for many years.

Down through the years the name has been
spelled Chumley, Chumney and Chumbly, all
I believe, to be related.

If you are interested, I have a lot of information
on the Chumney family.
