Hi all, noted your postings about SYLVESTER family. Do any of you have a
connection or any information on my gg grandfather?

Nathan SYLVESTER: born about 1828 in Maine. Married Emily H. GORDON on 22
Oct. 1854 in Freedom, Waldo County, Maine. Emily was from Thorndike, Maine.
They are both buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Freedom, Maine. I would love
to know what, if anything, is written on their tombstones or cemetery office
records. Unfortunately, the cemetery is a long way from southern California.

I have been searching for three tears, I meen YEARS, for Nathan's parents or
siblings.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.
