The Department of North Carolina plans its initial meeting
Saturday April 19 from 1 to 4 pm at the Bennett Place memorial just west
of Durham, NC. This is where Generals Sherman and Johnson arranged the
surrender that ended the Civil War in the southeast.

All best wishes to the brothers in Georgia and South Carolina.

I hope that I or someone from the NC Department will be able to
join in the celebration, and if any of the brothers in Georgia or SC can
be present with us in Durham they will be welcome.
