Lauren,

Thanks for the inspirational tale, and also thanks to Teresa and Marilyn
for their input. At least I've begun to leave sticky notes in books
and/or notebooks to indicate to my children where I'd like them to go after
I shuffle off, but it's so hard to organize everything. I'm sure my local
genealogical society would be happy to take my books (and sell any
duplicates). I'd like some records to go to the New York Historical
Association in Cooperstown, since most of my family lines are from Oneonta
and neighboring Oneida Counties in NY.

And I'm sure it's not wise to think my children, when they are grieving,
will be in any mind to deal with this stuff, so it needs to be marked with
clear directions. Not that I've done it yet!!

And another thought is that right now, none of my three have any particular
interest, but they might later on. So it would be good if they (or their
children) know where to look.

So much to do, so little time!!
