Seeking information about a Dr. Christopher M. (Christian) Stewart who
died in Lafayette county, MO in 1870. He was born about 1827 in
Virginia. His mother was Sarah (Sallie) Stewart, born about 1800 in
Berkeley (W) VA, died Lafayette MO 1867.

He first married Frances Benton in 1854 in Lafayette; after she died in
1857, he married Virginia Price in 1866 again in Lafayette. Obit says he
had 3 kids; likely William, Fanny and Sally.

Am hopeful that Sarah is a sister to my William N. Stewart, born 1793 VA,
in Mason KY by 1801, married Abigail Shotwell there in 1816, and died
about 1855.

Any help appreciated.
