Kathy,
According to the LDS sight 1880 census, my greatgrandfaather Leighton
Stewart, lived in the household of his mother a widow. Her name was Mary
Stewart. She was indicated to be a widow, Leighton was her son single age
22. Census place, District 1308 Wayne Georgia.

Can't seem to locate the rest of file at the moment. Hard copy files are a
mess and my computer crashed and I lost a lot of info.

Did note that Mary Causey married a John ? Stewart. The Causey family is
where the name Leighton and Erastus seems to have originated in my Stewart
line. By the way also saw it spelled Layton in this Causey family.
