You must be ancient <gbg> if you never heard of Leif Erickson or Erick the
Red, in school. What about Americus Vaspusus (spelling was never my strong
suit) I am going to be sixty next month and both of these men were
mentioned in my history books as possibly having come to the new world
first. America was named for Americus Vaspuses.
