Dear Paul:

Re: Question #1: The formula to subscribe to all Rootsweb lists
is the same:

Send a message to the command server address:

substitute the actual name of the list for "xxxx"
substitute "D" for the "L" if you want digest mode

In the body and subject line of the message, include ONLY this one
word:

subscribe

A welcome message will be autogenerated by the server to let you
know your subscription request was fulfilled.

Re: Question #1a: Stewart researchers, no matter the spelling
of their name, (23 at last count), are welcome and encouraged to
post to *this* list. There is a Steward list, if you would
like to also make use of it.

Spelling variations that may be seen posted to the Stewart-L
include, but are not limited to:
Sdiuord, Steuard, Steuarde, Steuart, Stevarde, Stevarte,
Steward, Stewart, Stewerd, Stigeweard, Stiuard, Stiubhard,
Stiubhart, Stiward, Stuard, Stuarde, Stuart, Stuarte,
Stueart, Stuerd, Stuward, Styward, Stywarde

Re: Question #2
There are copies of the "SCM" in many Libraries in the USA.
It is also available on microfilm from the LDS.

As this has been mentioned with frequency on this list, one
will find messages in the Stewart-L archives that address this
and other questions re the Stewart Clan Magazine published by
George Edson. I believe there is also a link from Mary's site
that has the Index for the SCM.

The follopwing message includes the list of Libraries:

Searchable Archives* for Stewart:
http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl?list=STEWART

Browsable Archives* for Stewart:

If you are looking for the Steward archives, simply change the "T"
in the addresses* above to a "D"

Yours Aye,

Lauren
