I have had great success with contacting living family members. I just
approach them in a very low key way with the understanding that if they
aren't interested, I will back off graciously. It has worked every time. I
have even cold called people throughout the US. I sometimes have gotten
their names from the Internet. I haven't done this a great deal, but the
times that I have contacted living family members, they have been glad to
help in any way that they can. My husband has also contacted people and has
had only one disappointment, a lady who just didn't want to be bothered. He
just moved on! Linda Wilson
