John, I have an Absalom Awtry in my line, with a daughter named Emma Elizabeth, who married a William Monroe Hill,b.Gwinnett County,GA - quite possibly they married in Georgia. I have no marriage date, and very little on the Awtry family.Absalom's wife was Nancy Lucy ?.

Emma Elizabeth and William Monroe Hill had a son, Richard Monroe Hill who married Almeda Ann Treadwell and produced a daughter - Emma Elizabeth Hill who married Charles Eli Stewart in 1870 in Anderson County,Texas.

Do you have any information on Absalom Awtry and Nancy Lucy in your Awtry Tree ?
