I'm new to this list and finding it very frustrating finding my Scottish
Stewart ancestors. There are so many with the same names. My grandfather
JAMES STEWART immigrated from Montrose Scotland to Springfield MA about 1900.
His parents were DAVID STEWART born 1840 in Kincardinshire Scotland, and ANN
PETRIE born 1841 in Kincardinshire Scotland. My great great grandparents were
DAVID STEWART born about 1815 in Scotland and ANN BURNESS. Before marrying
David ANN married a HENDERSON and possibly a ROSS.

That's as far back as I can go with my Father's family, can anyone out there
help me?
