Auction ends: Dec-08-02 18:30:41 PST; Seller:
1832 family Bible published by H & E Phinney in the United
States. Family Bible of Matthew & Edy STUART. Matthew STUART
was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of Robert and
Elizabeth SPROULE STUART, who were Scotch-Irish Presbyterians
and emigrated from Ireland. Edy GRIFFIN STUART, daughter of
Robert and Hatty HARRIS GRIFFEN was born in Virginia and came
to Ohio when it was a wilderness. Bible has four pages of births
deaths, and marriages.
