They don't sound familiar, but having a considerable background in Ireland, I'd
suggest you give us some more detail.
In particular, how do you know that a great deal of research has been done on them?
Whereabouts in Ireland is the other question?
Research in Ireland is a funny business sometimes, sort of depends on who you know
rather than directly on what you can look up, and there is much more available than
sometimes appears at first glance to be the case.
