I have the following brief information on the family of John and Mary BELL
STEWART of Butler CO, PA. John and Mary are said to have emigrated from
Ireland, presumably about 1795.

Their children were: Joseph (1799), Elizabeth, Samuel, Watson, John,
William, Jane, all believed to have been born there or in Harrison CO, OH
before 1854, when Joseph moved to McLean CO, IL where he died in 1863. One
Estate document of this Joseph STEWART found its way into the DeWitt CO,
Estate file of my gg grandfather Samuel STEWART who died September 6, 1839
in an early portion of De Witt, now Piatt CO, IL.
