To all my Stewart family,
My father, James Alvin Stewart at the age of 85, passed away at my home on
Sat. Sept. 29, in Thornville, Ohio.
He was the son of Alvin and Lillian (Ford) Stewart.

I have been researching my Stewart tree with little success for years.
My grandmother, Lillian was born in Coatesville, of Chester Co. Pa. and I
was told at the funeral that Alvin (b. 1883) and his parents, John and
Isabella (Green) Stewart where from around Chester county also at some
point. I do know that Alvin and Lillian where in Ohio and Indiana. Isabella
died prior to 1916. Where, I do not know.

Any information on these families would be greatly appreciated.

My Stewart on line family is the only hope I have of finding out about my
roots. Thank you,
