I notice it's been a week or so and there hasn't been an answer, I'm not
sure who's left on the list in our branch of the family. I did get an email
not too long ago from someone, but there's several that I haven't heard from
lately. Probably like me, their life is very busy right now.

Like you, I'm a descendant of Charles and Johannna through William and
Delphia, then through their son Randolph Hockaday Stewart, so we're fairly
close cousins.

If you haven't seen the book and booklets printed by the Daughters of the
Utah Pioneers, they had a series on Utah settlers, although I don't know if
it was done through the state or only Grand County. There's a number of
pages on the Stewart family in one of the booklets they did, and the intro
to the writeup indicates that there was research done by Frances May Baker,
who 'travelled to the southern states and found the family bible which
documented the lineage back to the royal family'. I know the research was
done, I remember hearing about it when I was a child. My great-aunt had it
done, but so far I haven't been able to get in touch with any part of that
side of the family to find out what happened to the research. Strangely
enough, not all of it seems to have made it to the archives in Salt Lake
either.

You've obviously done more on other parts of the family than I have, of
course the last few years have left me basically no time to work further on
research. Email me, would love to see the parts you've got done that I
haven't, and I'll be happy to send you copies of what I have, once I figure
out just where I put it last time I rearranged things.
