Since there are probably some new members, I will ask again for any information on Peter STEWART born in North Lochaber, Antigonish, NS in 1802, and his son, Alexander born same place, 1839. I have no idea when or where Alexander (the younger) died. Alexander (the elder) was Peter's father and he migrated from SCT to NS in 1801 with his bride, Margaret MacFarlane. I have lost track of anything on Alexander, the younger. I have information that he was married to Annie Inglis and they were the parents of my grandmother, Margaret Cecelia Stewart born ca 1887 and baptised in 1888 with only the mother, Annie STEWART listed.
What happened to Alexander? did he die? did he run away? was he ever married to Annie? (there is no proof of the marriage, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen) They were Presbyterian by faith from what I have been able to discern.
Any help with this is appreciated.
