This is my first posting to this list. I need HELP !
I am looking for the parents of Mary STEWART wo md. Robert GIBSON in 1783 (where?). Robert came from Scotland in 1773. Do not know where he was during the 10 years before marriage. They had 10 children born between 1784 and 1806 when Mary died giving birth to the last child, Betsy. Believed they lived in Shelby and Henry Co. KY. Mary is buried in Eminence Cemetery, Henry Co. KY.
Does ANYONE have any information regarding the STEWART family she belongs to? I have much information on Robert GIBSON'S family in Scotland. Need to find out where he entered the US and what he was doing the first 10 years here.
