Mary, I apologized for this belated Thank You.

Thank you for your wonderful index and for sharing it like you do! I cannot imaging how much time and work it took to develop and then to put it on the Internet too.

I was vaguely aware of the Stewart Clan Magazine (SCM) existed but that's about all. That was until I found your web site before the holidays. Within a two-hour period, I learned about the SCM, its history, its author, and that the magazines were on file within a long hour's drive from home. More importantly, after using a combination of searches, I found it contain at lease two articles about my wife's ancestors. Even if I had found this set of SCM earlier, there was no way I could sit down and search 50 years of magazines because of how random the articles are presented.


The combination of searches your index provides is outstanding. For example, by cross-checking the list of magazines that contains just the name of the person with another list of magazines that contains just the place you suspect they were located, a person can zero in on those few issues of the magazine that list both the person and the place. What a time saver!
