Good Evening,
I am seeking information on the above couple to either
ascertain they are my husband's great grandparents, or to
rule them out. Here is what I know.
Elias Charles Stuart/Stewart was born about 1814 in MS his
father was James Stewart and his mother Elizabeth Warren
she was the daughter of Elias Warren and Elizabeth ?
Martha Magee was born about the same time as Elias, her
father was Fleet Magee. Martha and Elias Charles were
married in Marion County, MS on November 16, 1843 in the
1850 census they had 3 children listed: F. Monroe b. 1846
MS, Joseph T. b. 1848 in MS and L. b. 1849 in MS.
I have some ancestry on this couple, but what I need is the
forward generations and where they went. When and where did
Martha die, and where were they in 1860?
Did Elias Charles have a second wife named
Manerva/Minerva? if so when did they marry? And what was
her maiden name? Any information on this couple would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks.
