I know that there are thousands of Stuarts-Stewarts and it's very
difficult researching. I have gone back as far as Alexander Stuart b
about 1675, from Scotland most likely Edinburgh. He left Scotland ca
1700, possibly during the Ulster Plantation or in support of William. In

1705 he married Catherine Montgomery b 1684, they had two children
Alexander abt 1706 and Mary Catherine born abt 1713. Alexander
possibly married before Catherine in Scotland. Alexander died 1712
Catherine was pregnant with 2nd child when she married James Patrick
Calhoun.
Surely Alexander Stuart b 1675 did not just appear on the scene some
aberration, he had to have parents. Does anyone haveanything more
about Alexander Stuart b abt 1675. Who was he? Who werehis parents?
How did he die? Any information would be appreciated.
