Hello,
As I was looking over the 1850 census (again) for Noxubee county, MS,
I read something i'd seen before but not really paid much attention to.

Emanuel L. STUART / STEWART (b. 1826 AL) had a son named
Langdon STUART b. 1850
In later census records it appears that this Langdon Stuart is actually
James M. STUART.
Could this be a clue as to Emanuel's middle name? Has anyone ever seen this
name in their Stewart research? Or Langdon as a nickname ? Perhaps
Langston?
Emanuel's father was Jehu b. 1770-1780 in an unknown location
Jehu came from somewhere in TN and settled in Perry Co. AL by 1830.

Thanks,
Anne W.
