Dear Stewart Listmembers:

For those of you familiar with Clan Stewart, you may have over the years
had contact with Morris Monroe (Bud) Stewart as the Membership Secretary
and member of the Genealogical Committee. Bud had been "doing" Stewart
Genealogy for many years before I joined the Clan. Bud is also the
person who has so ably made sure that Libraries accross the nation have
copies of the old Stewart Clan Magazine.

I got a letter from Bud today. In it he let me know that his wife
Virginia (Gin) had died at home of lymphoma on Saturday, February 13.
They had been married for 61 years and on November 17, 1998 had
celebrated the 66th anniversary of their first date. He is going to miss
her a lot.

If you are inclined, please send a card or note of condolance to:
Monroe Stewart
111 Masonic Avenue
Monroe, LA 71203

The family has requested that any memorials be given to the First United
Methodist Church Chancel Choir or to the Hospice Care of Glenwood.

Later when I have the time, I will type the obit he sent me from the
pamphlet for her celebration of life. In the meanwhile, I wanted to get
the word out.

Yours Aye,

Lauren
