Dear Catherine, you should be precise how you say things.
If there are direct decendants, are there also in-direct descendants? If
you mean descendants in the strict male line
of descent, then there is no-one left anywhere.
If you mean 'descendants', then, yes, there are descendants even in America
of the last Stuart kings, James VI-I, Charles I, Charles II and James II.

Again, you have to be precise. There is only one Prince Michael of Great
Britain (and Northern Ireland) and that
is HRH Prince Michael of Kent.
If you mean Prince Michael of Albany, his link with the Stuarts, still far
from proven, is via his mother and so
he is not a 'direct' descendant, if a descendant at all.
