Yes, thanks to your wonder index I looked up all of the SCM references.

It is funny about the date on Gen. Stewart's death. My cousin Pauline Stewart
Crosley (1867-1955) spent years corresponding with various cousins over the
date of Gen. Stewart's death. I have a lot of that correspondence. A grandson
of Gen. Stewart, Judge John J. Floyd (1811-1883) insisted that he remembered
Gen. Stewart dying when he was a young boy. This threw Pauline off track for
years. Then I am sure she found the will which was probated in July 1830.
Everyone then took the 1830 date as the year of his death. So getting the read
date and two newspaper articles to confirm it was great.
