I can't vouch for the link to the Duke of Berwick, but have a look in the
Stewart Clan Magazine for research on the family of John Stewart and Ann
Haw/Howe. You can find the references in the indexes at

as well as links to pages that will explain the pagination, what the SCM is
all about, and where you can find copies of the series.

Look for Ann Haw/Howe first, and that will get you started.
