I want to direct your attention to Frank Parker Hudson's book on the early Tax
lists of Wilkes co , he has some copies for $50 a real bargin, this work has
tons
of info on the Capt Districts and explains where the boundaries were this is
especially important when the Hancock Co area is being examined. There is an
area
called Defacto Wilkes that became part of Hancock and I defer to his work
