Hi Sherry,
Sorry you've had trouble with the Indexes, but it looks to me as if it might
be because your names are all a big late. The editor of the SCM used 1850
as his cutoff date on information he was copying from county records, and if
you don't have William McMurtry Stewart's parents, there's little chance of
finding out what branch he might be attached from.
