found a huge amount of stewart info at the clayton family room at
southern wesleyan
university located in the town of central,s.c.(pickens co./old pendleton
district,s.c.)
huge amount of clayton,alexander,durham and many others.
the stewarts followed the goverment land give a ways and land grants as they
were made public.
my direct line(robert stuart)begin in perthshire sct, edinburgh sct.
(delaware co.) chester pa, (craven co.)new bern,n.c., columbia,co.ga.
wilkes co. ga. and pickens co.s.c.(old pendleton district) this line is on
usgenweb-s.c.pickens co.under old pendleton district listed under old
pendleton families.
parts of family were in limestone co.ala.or other ala. counties.
anyone have info on henry,brother to eugene? father may have been william or
john stewart. in ala.thank you for any help on stewart families in ala.
