Am searching for information on my ancestor Mathew Stewart bc 1790 in Virginia
and died 19 Aug 1822 in Limestone Co AL. He married c1808 in Virginia Nancy
Fletcher, daughter of John and Susannah Fletcher.

Children were:
1. Hiram Lewis bc1809 VA m Susan Robertson
2. Sally H. bVA
3. John Fletcher bc1814 m Rebecca Ann Davis
4. William James bc1816 m Lucinda Meadows
5. James Calvin b1820 m Mary Ann Litzy
6. Thomas bc1821 m Sarah Elizabeth Litzy, sister to Mary Ann

Have most of these children's descendants. Am interested in working back from
Mathew. He is found on the 1812 and 1816 tax lists of Madison County Alabama
Territory and the 1820 LimestoneCounty AL census (Limestone Co was created
from the AL territory in 1819) Am looking for him prior to that.

Any help would be appreciated.
