Anne, After much looking I have found the following info:
Walker Stuart born about 1770 at Walker's Creek married about 1810 a Mary
McClure. She was born about the same time frame and place.(Augusta Co. Vir.)
Their children were as follows: John Alexander Stuart b. 1810-1811, Samuel
1812,
Mary 1814, Joseph 1816, William 1820, Robert 1822 and Walker 1824. All born
at Walker's Creek in Augusta Co. Virginia.
Also: June 27, 1892 George W. Stuart and wife Sarah E. Stuart had a daughter
that died of the flux, she was 4yrs 1mo and 9 days old. This was in Carroll
Co. Vir.
