Subject: 7 brothers arriving in US from Scotland

I am new here and certainly have missed a lot.

Does anyone out there have any information or ever heard within "family
lore" about 7 Stewart brothers arriving from Scotland and going in separate
directions? This story has been circulated in our family forever but with
no proof that I am aware of. One brother supposedly settled in middle TN.

The information I have is William Cyrus Stewart of Westmoreland, TN, father
of Samuel Carroll Stewart, Larry F., Bill, Cora and Nan Stewart. I also
know that Cora married W. H. Crockett and lived in Mayflower, Arkansas and
Nan married H. L. Trammell of TN; Larry Stewart lived in Tompkinsville, KY
and Bill Stewart lived in Westmoreland, TN. Samuel Carroll died about 1941
at age 57 so he was born about 1884 or so. Thanks for any help.
