My great grandfather was William Shepard Stewart and we find him in the
1850 census for Tippah County Mississippi. It says that he was born in
Missouri and that he was 17 years old when the 1850 census was taken. He
was with a female (Elizabeth, age 44) whom we presume to be his mother and
another female (Fatima, age 17) whom we know to be his sister. In 1853 he
married my great grandmother (Susan Springer) in McNairy County Tennessee.
There they raised their family (ten children) and in about 1890 most of the
family moved to Hays County Texas.

I have good history of the family from William Shepard to the present but I
need help in finding the parents/siblings of William Shepard Stewart, born
1832 in Missouri.
