Well, here goes another try at finding folks who seem to have wanted to hide:

Looking for a William J. Stewart who married Sussannah McKinnister .
William and Sussannah (apparently the spelling she preferred) bought land in
Clark or Switzerland county, Indiana, in 1818. [ I'm told the county
boundaries changed in the early 1800's, so please consider both Clark and
Switzerland counties ]

William J. Stewart m a y be the son of Moses Stewart, who was probably
born in PA but likely lived in Boone co, KY before moving into Clark co, IN.
It is also probable that William J. is the ' William I. Stewart ' in the
1820 census for Switzerland co, IN (an I and a J could be easily
confused in longhand ).

As for Sussannah, I know almost nothing -- so far I haven't found any
McKinnister in my quick looks through USGenweb, so maybe it's an unusual name
or suffered a variety of spellings. If anyone out there has McKINNISTERs
associated with STEWARTs or associated with any of the above counties, I'd
like to hear from you.
