Oh dear oh dear Charlene, no, they're not in there. At least, no Elizabeth
Bates. I saw your posting earlier in the week and tried then, looked up the
name Fort too, but no luck in GA anyhow so didn't get in touch. Here's what
there is:

Bates, Andrew L., ME 1903: A240
Bates, Anna, MA 1668: A6,B283,F143,I189,J22
Bates, Beulah, NJ 1832: D295
Bates, Caroline A., ME 1848: A140
Bates/Batts, John, KY 18--: C54,129
Bates, Joseph, OH 18--: C84
Bates, Mary, VA 1834: D301
Bates, Tarleton, PA 1806: C326,I203-4

Fort, George, PA 1881: A166

Wayne Co., GA : H104,117,118,121,122

Savannah, GA : B172,D144,E170,171,178,F38,41,42,60,228,G57,58,189,198

I doubt this will help, but you might like to hang onto the refs just in case.

As for the trip to Scotland -- just tell me where and when!

Boys in the 8th grade do it for FREE -- and the prestige with the big kids!
But I'll have to keep that ham sandwich in mind!

Regards,
Mary
