Hi Celia,

From the Stewart Clan Magazine, Dec. 1922, Vol 1, pg 6, I have the STEWARTS
of EAST HADDAM, CONN. with Alexander and Margaret (DIXON/DICKSON) STEWART as
immigrant from poss. Ballymena, Antrim, Ire. joining the First Cong. Church,
New London, Ct. in 1720 and bapt. son, Samuel, said to be "born on the high
seas".

Son, James, b abt 1715 "prob. in Scotland" m Keziah, dau of Banjamin
Scoville of East Haddam. Son, James, bpt. 1740, East Haddam m 24 Mar 1763
Rhoda GRAVES.

I'm descended from Alexander's son, Thomas and Anne/Anna (ROGERS) STEWART b
poss 1710 Ballymena, m 1735/36 Voluntown by Rev. Samuel Dorrance.

Does any of the above info correspond with your STEWART book?
