>
>"How do you find someone who is still living when you don't
>want them to know you're looking? I was raised by my mother
>since my mother and father broke up about six weeks after
>their marriage. My mother says that my father denied being my
>father and has never since contacted her. I've checked SSDI
>for a death listing there, but found nothing. I don't know where
>he could be living or whether he is living or dead! In either

>My answer would be to start at last known address, or contact
>relatives. These may be located by finding his parents and
>their parents and check the obituaries for family members. A
>discreet inquiry looking for him may produce results.
>Old newspaper indexes can contain a wealth of information.
>Also, post a free listing in The Seeker at www.the-seeker.com.
>I am listed in The Seeker on the "Sought and Found" list.
>See www.the-seeker.com/found.htm
>I wish I had known what was available online before I began

>there are a lot of volunteers like myself who will help you.
>Check out the resources in your area by search engine.

>Since you have his birth date, social security number, and name,

>you would need to use the white pages of the on-line
