I'm interested in your Stewarts. I have a James T. Stewart b. 1841 in
Tennessee. Possibly a connection? I have all of James T.'s descendants.

I received you msg on Stewart List, but was wondering the same thing. I
just
joined a couple of days ago and haven't received but two messages. Thought
it would really be a busy list. Of course, I am negligent on listing my
families...need to work on that.

Briefly....JAMES STEWART b ca 1730?; d aft 1796 in or near Franklin CO VA;
Had sons JAMES, CHARLES, and others. JAMES II my line m RACHAEL HOLLOWAY
ca
1785, settled in Franklin CO VA then to Roane/Morgan Cos. TN where James II
d
around 1829/30. Their son JAMES, my line, m PHOEBE JONES in Franklin CO
VA
and they migrated to Roane CO TN where JAMES III died ca 1817. This James
had a son WILLIAM who came to Morgan CO IL and m 1834 NAOMI NELSON.

If any of this familiar with anyone, would gladly give more info.
