Well, yesterday was the anniversary (6 months!) of my not hearing anything
from the DAR re James Stewart Jr and Hugh Stewart, so I won't be stupid
enough to ask them about James Jr's brother GEORGE STEWART. Besides, with
the help from you guys I'm sure I now know more than the DAR about James . .
. OK, here's the question:

Does anyone have the children and grandchildren of George STEWART ( b.
1758 , d. 1850) ? He is in the DAR Patriot Index, he is a brother to James
Stewart Jr, and his father was James Stewart Sr. George m. Elizabeth
Crawshaw and supposedly served as a private in VA. I have heard that he
probably lived most of his life in Ohio, but I'm not certain of that. Any
info is greatly appreciated. Please e-mail. Thanks.
