I, too, have a Stewart in Alabama circa 1850. My great, great-grandfather
was born in Fayette County, Alabama in 1850 to Charles Anthony Stewart.
The family soon moved from Alabama to Texas and settled in Jacksboro, Jack
County, Texas. I'm searching for any clues anyone might have on the
Stewarts in Northwestern 'Bama in the 1850s.
