Hello,

I am researching JAMES STEWARDs scottisch parentage. He was a soldier in =
the regiment of George Hamilton which was a part of the State Army of =
the Netherlands. This regiment was present in the Netherlands during =
1698-1714.=20
James Steward married as Jacobus Stuart in 1706 with Hendrina Nielen in =
Nijmegen (Netherlands, Gld) and in 1712 with Anna Maria Martens in =
Bemmel (Netherlands,Gld).

Children:
1. Jan (John) bapt. 15-5-1707;
2. Martinus, bapt. 20-5-1714;
3. Jenneken Christina, bapt. 27-3-1718;
4. Maria Magdalena, bapt. 8-4-1726;
5. Petrus, bapt. 4-2-1730

Is there anyone who knows about James Steward or that regiment or where =
he might be recruited in Scotland?
