Subject: NC/SC Stewart arrivals

Interested to know if anyone has STEWART kin arriving in either state from
Scotland in the late 1700's. My STEWART folk settled in the Richmond
county area of North Carolina and I assume they put in at the NC or SC
coast. Wilmington thence up the Cape Fear? Charleston? I've ruled out
arrival by air transport, which is about the most progress I've made.
